This is probably oversimplifying but:
There are 4 players.
Players A and B have card sets 1-9 installed.
Players C and D have card sets 2-4 installed.
Player A and player B play a game with cards only from sets 2-4. Cards show up fine.
Player A and player C play a game with cards only from set
3. Cards do not display to either opponent. Only a question mark appears. (Some cards played were confirmed here to have the exact same ID number in the deck list.)
