Cannot connect/be connected to with new IPv6

Unsure of details of why it doesn’t work, but I cannot connect to people, or be connected to using the new version. As a very interesting side note, when I attempted connecting to another user (only done once), when my attempt to connect finished the host’s program crashed.
I am running Windows XP, and activated IPv6 as mentioned on the blog
