Extending character limitation for packs

Feature request: Extending the character limit from currently 1000 characters for a <pack> to 9000 or more.
In some games (e.g. X-Files CCG), there are random cards and fixed cards in starter packs. Different starters lead to a big number of variants and lines in the <pack> element of a o8d file.
Currently I would need 8122 characters. If the character limit can be easily enlarged, perhaps some additional reserve would be good, e.g. 9000 or 10000 characters.
